CVE-2026-107186 is a CVSS 8.6 high-severity authentication bypass in Eptura Archibus, affecting versions before 2025.02.
A legacy Java Direct Web Remoting (DWR) API endpoint accepts requests that chain multiple method calls in a single submission. By including a whitelisted pre-authentication method in the chain, an unauthenticated attacker can set a privileged system session on the application.
Affected versions: Archibus before 2025.02.
Remediation: Update to Archibus 2025.02 or later. That release removes the vulnerable DWR code path. See NVD and the Rapid7 disclosure.
